Chris and I have stayed at La Ville Neuve each year for the past 3
years. When we first stayed at La Ville Neuve it was a comfortable
welcoming typically French farmhouse. We have watched the renovation
work progress, evolving it into a beautiful accommodation, without it
losing its character and charm.
Our holidays there have been varied, some days we took advantage of
the converted pump house, that is a lovely place to lounge in the sun
overlooking large gardens and orchards that belongs to the house.
Other days we ventured to some of the many towns within 20 min drive
from the house. Pontivy and Heulgoat to name two. These towns offer
ample shopping and weekly markets. There are lovely dining places for
us to enjoy the French cuisine.
About 1 hours drive from La Ville Neuve is Ploumanache. This is
situated on the North Brittany coast. It is a beautiful Flintstone
like bay with lots of seaside bars and cafes. It is great for taking a
swim in the clear blue waters. There are lovely cliff walks and close
by a marina if you just want to watch the boats pass by. I would
highly recommend a stay at La Ville Neuve. It is great for couples or
families to enjoy.
